Enjoy a romantic fire in the living room, or just watch TV. There is a library with board games for entertainment. The final touch to your day is the beautiful sunset behind the Mule Mountains.

Located also on the farm was the bunk house, presently the Garden Room. It originally served to shelter the hired hands that helped out on the farm.
Now the Garden Room allows you to view wild birds, relax in our spa, read, or listen to music
while sipping a beverage.
View our Burgundy Room and Green Room pages for photos, rates and descriptions.

The original Homestead was built in the 1930's and operated as a farm for several years, growing everything from potatoes to peanuts, and selling it's yielded crops in the produce barn positioned to the South Side of the house.

We have been welcoming guests since 2001.

Sojourners Homestead

Circle the wagons for a spell and take a rest at Sojourner's Homestead Bed and Breakfast.
Here you can experience a little piece of the past, but with modern day comfort.
Visit local historic and natural attractions. Hike or take our golf cart through the back 40 acres to catch a glimpse of wild javelina, mule deer, coyotes, jack rabbit or other desert animals. Watch the sand hill cranes fly overhead to their winter nesting grounds in the area.
If you’d like, try hand-pumping water from our
well. End the day around our fire ring, toasting marshmallows or popping corn. Or bring your swim suit and indulge in our four-person hot tub inside our Garden room. No matter what you choose, you’ll be surrounded by beautiful mountain views.

Looking east from the front porch, one can view the Swisshelm Mountains. Enjoy your day in the valley gazing on a breathtaking sunrise, observing wild birds at Whitewater Draw, or go no further than the front porch, to see the Sandhill Cranes
(in season from October to March)
fly directly over the Homestead.
